“It’s like Christmas!” said Ray, a Colours Inc. 2025 intern graduate. Ray was recently hired by a body shop in Northeast Pennsylvania after completing his internship. This was an exciting milestone, but one that often comes with a big financial challenge. New technicians typically need their own equipment when beginning a job, and for many students, that cost can feel overwhelming.
That’s where the Dino Rossi Fund, and Colours’ commitment to strengthening the collision industry, comes in.
One part of the fund includes granting toolboxes and essential equipment to jump-start student careers. This year two students received $2,500 tool package through the Dino Rossi Fund, a charitable arm of Colours Inc. By removing barriers and ensuring new technicians have what they need on day one, Colours is helping build a stronger, more sustainable talent pipeline for our industry.
Kevin, another student in the Boston, Massachusetts area, also experienced this firsthand. He was surprised with a brand-new set of tools—equipment that not only accelerates his career but reinforces that he has a place in this industry.
These moments are more than gifts; they’re investments. Investments in students, in shops, and in the future of collision repair. The vision for the Dino Rossi fund is simple: empower the next generation of technicians and support body shops with skilled and well-equipped team members.
